The long discussed and anticipated sale of Cabela’s to Bass Pro Shops cleared its final legal hurdle and became official, the latter announced in a press release.
Issues and concerns about the Cabela’s credit card business were put to rest with approval from federal regulators earlier in September. The deal, reported to be about $4 billion, combines two of the biggest and most well-known names in the outdoors retail industry.
